– Dr. Sudhanshu Sharma, President

Dr. Sudhanshu (born 19 February 1969) is a prominent Indian educationist, political leader, green activist, and climate change scientist based in Rajasthan. He is widely recognized as the co-founder and former vice-chancellor (2008–2011) of Suresh Gyan Vihar University in Jaipur. He comes from a family of noted academics; his grandfather was the scholar Acharya Purushottam Uttam, and his father, Shri Suresh Sharma, was a respected politician and educationist. Academically, Dr Sudhanshu holds a Doctorate in Earth Sciences (1992) from MNIT and a Law degree from the University of Rajasthan. In his early career as a geologist, he was credited with reporting the minerals Staurolite and Ottrelite in the Aravalli region for the first time.

Beyond academia, he is a significant figure in Indian politics, having founded the Indian Peoples Green Party (PGP) in 2011 to advocate for sustainable growth. He is also the author of Indians@rest: The root cause of India's unrest, a satirical look at Indian politics.
